David Gaston, a top executive at HPE, will be attending the April 18th CHATECH Connect Luncheon (more on that below), and will also be joining members of the InfoSystems team for a special networking event at 5:00 p.m.

David Gaston and other representatives from HPE and InfoSystems will be answering questions and discussing some of the newest and most successful enterprise and small business technologies on the market from HPE.

David Gaston is the leader for Hewlett-Packard’s Americas Industry Standard Server business, the largest HP Enterprise Group regional business unit. In leading ISS Americas, he directs product management and product marketing, plans route-to-market roadmaps, grows business development, and oversees supply chain management. He places significant emphasis on creating positive relationships with customers and channel partners alike by showcasing HP’s innovation and commitment to quality.
Prior to joining ISS Americas, David led the business development organization responsible for sales of HP products, software and services with Open Source and Linux in the Americas. David also spent four years leading the team responsible for HP Americas’ strategic alliance and sales with Oracle.
David joined Compaq in December of 1995 to manage the North America alliance and sales with SAP and was promoted to direct Compaq’s enterprise applications alliances, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, PeopleSoft, Siebel, SAS, Lotus, i2, JD Edwards and Great Plains. Prior to joining Compaq, David spent nine years with AT&T’s computer business, including NCR, where he held a variety of major account sales, sales management, server and industry solutions marketing positions.
