Join InfoSystems as we celebrate IBM's 100th birthday! For 100 years IBM has been changing the way business operates across the globe. For the last 17 years, InfoSystems has been proud to partner with IBM to initiate this change both regionally and beyond. We feel it's an accomplishment worth celebrating!

  • - IBM was a pioneer in civil rights? In 1935, IBM's founder declared by policy that IBM would not discriminate on race, color, creed or gender - some 30 years before any civil rights statutes in the United States obligated them to do so.
  • - IBM changed the way we shop? In 1973, IBM developed the symbol we now know as the barcode, unlocking the possibilities of scanning and tracking products in today's 'supermarket system'.
  • - IBM made the world smaller? In 1981, the original IBM Personal Computer (PC) was introduced, revolutionizing the way the world did business and moving buiness and moving computing into the hands of individual users.
