InfoSystems Announces Sponsorship of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Performance, "Oz with Orchestra"
23-Feb-2012 CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee – February 23, 2012 – InfoSystems, a Chattanooga-based information technology (IT), communications and software solutions provider, is proud to announce its sponsorship of “Oz with Orchestra”, a special performance by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO). This creative concert will feature the CSO orchestra, conducted by Maestro Robert Bernhardt, accompanied by a showing of the classic film The Wizard of Oz.“We support the arts not only as individual members of our community, but as a corporate citizen, we also understand how a vibrant arts culture adds to the quality of life in Chattanooga and enhances the appeal of our city. This cultural appeal contributes to economic development, because people and businesses want to be in those kinds of environments,” said InfoSystems’ COO Tim Phelan. “It’s no wonder Chattanooga ranks number four in the top 25 mid-size cities for arts destinations, according to American Style Magazine.”
Scheduled for March 3 at the Tivoli Theatre, the performance will provide attendees with a symphonic experience like no other. Before the concert, patrons will have the opportunity to meet one of the original munchkins from the movie and have their picture taken with the Tin Man. The first 1,000 guests will also receive free Emerald City glasses.
“Oz with Orchestra” will be a performance that excites not only the listening experience, but engages the visual senses as well. The audience will get to watch the movie The Wizard of Oz while hearing Judy Garland sing along with the CSO orchestra performing in real time, a truly unique experience.
